「埋藏的视线」坐落于澳大利亚沙漠深处的采矿小镇 Broken Hill,一处被工业遗迹塑造的极端地景之中。
基地曾是一片活跃的采矿场:起伏的 结构、孤立的水塔,以及一口深达三百米的矿井,共同构成了小镇关于劳动与掘进的记忆。
项目并未在地表再添新的形象,而是选择退入地下,与这段被开采的历史并行存在。
Buried Gaze is located in the remote mining town of Broken Hill, deep within the Australian desert, on a former industrial mining site.
Structures, water tanks, and a mine shaft plunging 300 meters into the ground mark a landscape shaped by extraction and labor.
Rather than introducing a new object on the surface, the museum withdraws underground, existing alongside the memory of excavation.
美术馆被深埋于地层之中,与矿井空间建立起直接的空间关联。
原有遗址被完整保留,建筑不覆盖、不修饰,而是让时间停留在地表。

The museum is buried deep within the ground, forming a spatial dialogue with the mine shaft below.
The original site is left intact—architecture neither covers nor refines it, allowing time to remain visible on the surface.
As visitors walk across the site, surprise emerges beneath their feet: openings puncture the ground, revealing a hidden interior below.

Those above glimpse the museum below, while visitors underground look upward to encounter the industrial remnants from an unfamiliar angle.
At times, gazes meet across levels—seeing becomes mutual, a shared condition rather than a singular act.
美术馆从一处结构下方进入,空间随之向下展开。
三层地下展厅逐步深入地层,光线被拉长、被削减,方向感逐渐被时间取代。
最终,一条漫长的地下走廊引导人们离开,从另一处更低的地面重新回到地表——
如同一次穿越掘进历史的缓慢行程。
The museum is entered beneath an existing structure, where space begins its descent.
Three underground levels unfold gradually, as light thins and orientation gives way to a sense of duration.
A long subterranean corridor eventually leads visitors out, emerging at a lower point on the site—
a slow passage through the memory of excavation.
